Q: How does the ordering process work?
A:

After browsing the list of products, simply click on the product of your interest. Near the top of the product page, the shopping cart is located. Enter the quantity you wish to order and click “Add To Basket” and then click “Check Out”, where after you will be taken through the self explaining checkout process.

Q: Is it legal to buy prescription medications online?
A:

The laws vary from country to country, but generally speaking it is perfectly legal to order medicines from an overseas pharmacy and have them shipped to you as long as you are importing them for your own personal use.

The FDA’s current Mail and Personal Use Import Policy lets patients import a 90 days supply of both FDA and non-FDA approved prescription drugs into the US as long as the drugs are not for commercial use, i.e. resale, and the patient certifies that he or she is being prescribed the same medication by a licensed doctor in the United States.

Most countries have regulations that allow its citizens to import prescription medicine for “personal use”. This is usually determined by the quantity (typically a supply for no more than 3 months normal use is allowed).

For more information we recommend you to contact your local FDA or customs office regarding the regulations and restrictions of your country.

Q: Do I need a prescription from my doctor?
A:

A prescription is not required to order our products.

Q: How do you protect my privacy and security?
A:

All transactions, personal information and queries are treated in the strictest of confidence. All credit card information is submitted to the highest level of security and precautions, with safeguards against fraud. Email addresses will not be released to any third party.

Q: How do you guarantee the quality of your products?
A:

All drugs sold by us are the same medicines found in most major pharmaceutical markets around the world. The same multinational pharmaceutical companies, applying the same excellent standards, manufacture them and the quality is always excellent.

The majority of our products are brand name products supplied in their original blister packs. The generic medicines supplied by us are manufactured in internationally (FDA and WHO) approved facilities. Regardless whether you prefer branded or generic medicines, you can order from us with the confidence that all medicines are of internationally approved quality.

All drugs supplied by us are in blister packs packed by the manufacturing companies themselves. Each blister pack has the product name, its chemical composition, manufacturing lot number, expiry date and the manufacturer's name, all printed at the manufactory. The blister pack ensures that each pill is individually sealed to protect its potency from exposure to climactic conditions and manual handling.

Q: Why do brand names vary from country to country?
A:

The brand name is often changed internationally for marketing reasons and as a business strategy to limit importation from a cheaper priced country into a higher priced country. The drug is made by the same company, however, and often at the same manufacturing facility – just with another name printed on the package.

Q: How do brand name and generic drugs differ?
A:

When scientists develop a new drug, they give it a generic name reflecting its chemical composition. Once the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or the local regulatory authority approves the drug, the manufacturer markets it with a brand or trade name, which is usually shorter and easier to remember. A drug company can hold exclusive patent rights to make a drug for up to 20 years after its discovery. After that other companies can legally start making generic versions of the drug.

Q: Are generic drugs safe?
A:

In almost all cases generics work as well as their brand name siblings and most often they cost considerably less. This is possible because research and advertising costs are much less for generics. When we sell a generic product, it is manufactured by a well reputed major pharmaceutical company, ensuring excellent quality and safety.

Q: When shouldn’t generics be substituted for brand name drugs?
A:

A very small number of drugs have a "narrow therapeutic index," meaning that a small variation in dose can cause problems such as too little effectiveness or too many side effects. That is, with phenytoin (brand name Dilantin), carbamazepine (Tegretol), valproic acid (Depakene), divalproex sodium (Depakote), digoxin (Lanoxin), warfarin (Coumadin), lithium (Lithobid, Eskalith), levothyroxine (Synthroid, Levoxyl), and theophylline (Theodur), you shouldn't switch from brand to generic or vice versa without your doctor's approval and close supervision.

Q: How do you ship?
A:

- We ship our products world wide in very discrete packaging.

- We ship from distribution centers located in both Europe and Asia

- Signature is required upon delivery

Depending on what product is ordered, the parcel may be shipped using the postal services or a courier. Regardless of used method, the cost of shipping is included in our prices.

Q: How long is the whole process of ordering and shipping?
A:

Once payment is received, we process and dispatch your order within two business days. Shipping time will depend on various factors such as shipping method, postal service efficiency, customs clearance, international transit, etc. Most often you will receive your products within 4-14 days after date of shipment.

Q: What is the minimum and maximum amount I can order at one time?
A:

For your own safety maximum order value accepted is $500. However, you should consult with your local FDA office regarding the quantity you would like to order, since there may be import regulations on those specific products and quantity.

Q: Can I buy your products through another way aside from the website?
A:

Our services are only available through our website.

Q: How is payment done?
A:

We accept payments by major credit cards noted on our front page. Order- and payment confirmation is sent to your e-mail address.

Q: How long does it take for you to receive my payment?
A:

Payments are normally processed and cleared within 24 hours.

Q: How are "bulky" orders shipped?
A:

If the order is physically too large to fit in the same envelope/box as a small sized order, the order will be divided into the necessary amount of packages. No matter how "bulky" your order is, we reassure you the same discretion level and packaging as guaranteed a small sized order.

Q: What is the cost of shipping?
A:

Shipping is FREE.

Q: Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
A:

Depending on what product ordered we are, most often, able to ship to P.O. Boxes if the address of the credit card holder is the same. If not being able to ship to a P.O. Box, this will be noted at the bottom of the respective product page.

Q: Can I track my order during transit?
A:

We use several various shippers, from different countries, why we, to our great regret, have not been able to yet develop a well functioning tracking functionality. Most parcels are, however, traceable and if, against all odds, an order has not arrived within the stipulated time, please contact us at customercare@personalonlinepharmacy.com and we will be happy to assist you in a timely fashion.

Q: What happens if my order gets seized by the authorities?
A:

Should this, very unlikely event, occur you will get a letter of notice from the authorities. On receipt of a copy of this letter by e-mail or fax, we will re-ship the order at no extra cost. If there is no such notification from customs and the consignment did not arrive within 28 days after the dispatch date, you may ask for order tracking. If the tracking shows that the shipment was lost in postal transit or was delivered to the wrong address, we will re-ship the order at no extra cost.

Please note, if your order was seized we suggest you give up your rights to the seized property, which will directly end the issue. A seized shipment simply means it was refused entry to the country, why no legal actions, due to the seizure, can be taken against the recipient.
